The orphanage could be a happy place, were it not for the cynical and always foul-tempered director Don Hipolito. Although the skilled football player Carlitos and the other children don’t have parents any more, instead they have their friendship. In any case, their evenings together with a secret TV and prohibited candy are much better than those with the often-severe and demanding adoptive families. When one day a national junior football team is assembled, Carlitos needs help from all of his friends in order to sneak out of the orphanage and participate in the practices. This colourful and humorous film about friendship and great dreams is directed at children of elementary school age.

To achieve his dream of becoming a national junior football player, Carlitos must escape the orphanage and its oppressive director with help from his friends.
